It is with a sad heart that we have to report that golden age Batman artist, Lew Sayre Schwartz, passed away on June 20th at the age of 84 years old.
Schwartz illustrated many of the caped crusader's adventures from 1948 - 1952, including the first appearances of the Killer Moth: Batman 63, 64 and Detective Comics 173.
